The Chore Chart

Recently we've started something new at our house......Zach has a "chore chart." He's been so interested in money and wanting to buy things we thought this might be a good time to begin this. He has certain jobs to complete each day and for each one done, he gets a star. At the end of the week we count up the stars and give him five cents for each star earned. His chores are *make bed, *help set the table for supper, *have kind hands (no hitting or pushing his brother!), *brush teeth, *pick up toys, and *be happy (no whining!). Having kind hands and no whining are proving to be the toughest ones for him! Right now he's saving up to buy a Batman. We also will soon be introducing him to "savings" and money to give at church. We'll be teaching him to take his "weekly allowance" and put part in the bank and give part to church.
