The Bike

Last Saturday the weather was BEA. U. TI. FUL! We decided to take advantage of it by getting the boys outside. Back in November, for Zach's birthday, we had given him a bike. And what a better day to get that out and practice! Well, things didn't go so smoothly. We do realize that the seat needs raised, but Zach had a complete meltdown because he couldn't get the pedals to go how we were trying to show him. It was a meltdown our entire neighborhood could hear, I'm sure. He ended up just pushing the bike on the sidewalk, not even wanting to try anymore. We did not realize learning to pedal would be such a hard thing for him to learn. But, we're not going to give up. Mom and Dad have realized they need to be more patient, get that seat raised, and have him try again! The next time will be better.....it seriously could not get any worse!

One of us did have fun.....Luke had a good time finding all the puddles to splash in!
