Tonight the boys and I made "Jesus Jack-o-Lanterns!" Zach brought home from preschool a neat little illustration of carving pumpkins and asking Jesus into our hearts: God scoops us up and washes us clean. He goes into our hearts and cleans out all the yucky stuff, sin. He puts His light inside of us so that we can shine for the whole world to see.
We talked about asking Jesus into our hearts, what sin is and how we need to share Jesus love with our friends so they can also go to Heaven someday. It was a fun time with my boys!
